Scrap Buffet and Beyond

Here are some photos from the Scrap Buffet last July 11. I wish I took more pics but once the scrapping started, I didn't have time to take photos anymore.

After the scrap buffet, Lee, Candy, Donna, Cookie and I went to Focacia at A. Venue for dinner. We ordered the Crazy Rolls which is similar to our C Italian Dining favorite, the Panizza. Since C is in far away Clark, we are content to enjoy Focacia's version of rolled pizza.

Ang saya namin, bakit kaya? There is a second version, but I decided
not to post anymore as Donna might never speak to me again. I'll hold
on to the soft copy though, in case I need one to blackmail Donna. :D

I had fun at the Scrap Buffet, and I certainly had fun at dinner! Next time ulit! But we'll miss Cookie and Donna!

Birthday Pictorial

Here are some fun photos taken at Blow Up Babies on my birthday.

I brought some props to document my hobby.

I also wanted to have a photo wearing a chef's toque and an apron because I love to cook. The apron is from Ch's Kitchen Couture. I love it!!!

Just goofing off!!!

I already bought patterned papers and embellishments months ago to match these photos. I've been planning these shots for months!

Happy Independence Day!

I've been living in Kawit, Cavite for the last 4 years and I haven't been INSIDE the Aguinaldo Shrine. In fact, last time I was there was about 20 years ago, during a field trip while in grade school. Anyway, I was stuck in traffic last Saturday so I took out my camera and snapped some photos of this historic site. Quite timely, too, since it is all prepped up for the June 12 Independence day. Too bad I wasn't able to get a good angle. By the time I was in perfect position, traffic started moving really fast and since I was driving, I had no choice but to move along. I was tempted to stop one second but the long line of drivers behind me might whack me for causing further delays. Anyway, happy INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Bicol Photos

Here are some of my favorite photos taken during our Bicol trip last April. I'm still working on the full story over at my travel blog but you can view the photos here. Haven't had time to change the titles and add proper tags but for viewing purposes, this would do for now. Thanks for looking!

UPDATE: I already finished editing the titles and descriptions. Make sure you click on them so you'll know the story behind the photos.

These were displayed on the console cabinet at the hotel lobby in Legaspi

How many faces do you see?

Wala lang, I thought it looks nice

Nice cloud formation at the tip of Mayon

...edited using the Orton effect. Really loving it!

Click on the photos below for a better view. The effect is less obvious in the smaller photos.

1. Original Photo - Ariel and myself during our descent from the summit of Mt. Pulag. The photo was taken using a tripod.

3. Original photo - In front of Ibarra's Portico Del Sol in Kawit, Cavite. This is going to be my brother's wedding venue.

Loving it!!! Will practice some more this weekend. By the way, the photo was taken at Sonya's Bed and Breakfast in Tagaytay.
Thanks Maybelle for sharing this technique. Looking forward to learning more tips from you.

How sweet it is to be loved by you

These photos were taken last January at Blow Up Babies. I was able to drag hubby for a photo op. I told him it's for his birthday and that we should take advantage of his birthday freebie. That did the trick! TFL!

Christmas Photos - Slide Show

This is a little late. Forgive me but I just figured out how to upload a video into YouTube (thanks Ria for the tip!). The baby in the slide show is my 6-month old (at the time the photo was taken) nephew, Jonathan Riley.

Christmas Photos

Just want to share some photos waiting to be scrapped into Christmas layouts. These were taken two weeks ago.We had these taken at Blow-Up Babies in Serendra. We had fun during the photo shoot.

The goofy photos above are my hubby's idea. Ayaw nya daw ng masyadong serious. I love how they turned out.

I just hope I get to scrap them in time for Christmas.

Uulit kami! Sa January, birthday ni hubby. Can't wait.
