My Card at CardMaps

I just realized, when I contributed to Pagemaps last June, my name landed a spot on the Friends of Pagemaps list. Can you find it?

This is the CardMap - a 5 x 7 horizontal card.

And this is my card.

I used Big Impressions for the embossed background and inked some portions of the raised image. The buckle is an acrylic flower from Simply Scrappy which I painted with green acrylic paint and stamped on (Fontwerks) using StazOn. I stamped the sentiment on the ribbon, and used rectangular scraps of patterned paper on the bottom portion of the card. Here's a closer look:

So what do you do to a birthday card that was featured at Pagemaps (my first time!)? Well, give it to a friend celebrating her birthday of course! This card went to my friend Mae who celebrated her birthday last May! Actually, I gave it to her as soon as I submitted to Becky. She's the very first one I gave one of my cards to, after I made the promise that I will be giving handmade cards to my friends for their birthdays.

I hope I can keep it up!
