Happy birthday dad!

I made a quick birthday card for my dad. He turned 64 last June 6th. Ariel and I had diner at my parents' place on the 7th. We bought him a Canon document printer since he's been wanting to buy one for quite some time, although, let's just say that my parents are technologically challenged.

Anyway, I wanted to give him something made with my own hands so I rummaged through my stash of scraps and made a card. The papers and chipboards are from WRMK Urban Window Collection (I've had those for 2 years!). I ran the paper through a Cuttlebug Embossing folder and sanded the surface to highlight the "happy birthday" words. For the "DAD", I painted the chipboards with crackle paint (my current favorite!) and sprayed them with Radiant Rain (also a current favorite). I used a white CS as base for this card. Inside, I stamped my birthday greetings with copper ink.
