I finished two projects this weekend. A card and a travel journal.
I made this card using scraps of paper - Urban Lily and Bazzil Cardstock.
I also used my very adorable Autumn Leaves Mindy's Zoo stamps. Love it! The sentiment is stamped with Hero Arts rubber stamps. Ink from Colorbox. The chalk is from Stampin' Up. I used the SU Blender Pens here.

Close up: Note how I used foam tape on some elements for dimension.

I also finished my travel journal this weekend. I started this two weeks ago. I've been meaning to make one since our Batanes trip (read about it here - Part 1 - and here - Part 2) in 2006. However, due to my very busy schedule leading up to our trip, I wasn't able to do so. As such, I was not able to document the names of the places we've been to, as well as the local food we tried. Last year, when we explored the islands of Cebu (read about it here - lots of entries about this trip, check out the others, too), i had with me a small, regular notebook. I was able to jot down some thoughts and experiences but got lazy after a few days. Now, with this fabulous journal, I hope I'll be inspired enough to record the details of our trip on a daily basis.
Materials:
Binder, Dividers, Papers – Sarrabinder from Hot Off the Press
Patterned Papers – Around the Block, Urban Lily
Die Cut Flowers – Urban Lily
Chipboard – Heidi Swapp
Flower – Prima
Buttons – Autumn Leaves
Dimensional Glaze – Diamond Glaze by Judikins
Glitter Glue - Stickles by Ranger
Others:
Lace
Glitter
Decoupage Glue
Just a note - I bought my first bottle of Stickles last week. I realized I like using diamond glaze + glitters instead. The result looks a lot better. However, Stickles is more convenient and less messy to use.
